wesafe monitors video feeds from IP camerasto detect scenarios such as
Detection and MNon-compliance with personal protectiveequipment (PPE) by the workforce,onitoring
People being in danger zones or aroundrisky machinery during operation
Anomalies like fire, smoke, and spillages
Trespassing incidents involving people,animals, or vehicles
Unauthorized entries and actions by theworkforce.
Such incidents are detected and alerted withinmilliseconds. The system also automaticallyrecords a short video clip of the incident forlater review. Additionally, upon request, it canmanage physical systems like enabling ordisabling access control, stopping machinery,or triggering alarms. wesafe can operate in real time with videofeeds from static IP cameras and is alsocompatible with real-time feeds from movingvideo sources like drones, as well as pre-recorded videos.
How does it work?
The process begins with integrating IPcameras into the wesafe system. Users addcameras by inputting their streaming links.
Once the cameras are incorporated, users cancreate specific scenarios for monitoring. Thisinvolves customizing and setting parametersfor various conditions, such as detecting non-compliance with PPE, unauthorized access, orhazards like fire and smoke. Each scenario istailored to the specific needs of theenvironment to ensure the system is alert torelevant threats.
The next step is drawing polygons over the camera feed. Users define zones of interest by markingareas on the video feed where specific scenarios are to be monitored, like danger zones, restrictedareas, or pathways. Drawing these polygons allows for precise monitoring within these areas,enhancing accuracy and reducing false alarms.
After defining the polygons, users assign the created scenarios to these areas. This associationensures that alerts are specific to the area of interest. The system offers flexibility; users can assignmultiple polygons for different scenarios, ensuring comprehensive coverage and responsiveness tovarious potential incidents.
When an incident occurs that meets the predefined conditions within a specific polygon, the wesafesystem immediately alerts the designated personnel. These alerts include snapshots and short,accelerated video clips, providing evidence and context. This real-time notification facilitates swiftaction, be it responding to an emergency or reviewing the incident for future safety planning. In theevent of a violation, the system generates a notification in just two hundred milliseconds, or one-tenth of a second. These notifications can also be integrated with Microsoft Teams, WhatsApp, SMS,email, or any internal application via API integrations.
By systematically adding cameras, creating scenarios, drawing polygons, assigning scenarios, andsetting up alerts, wesafe provides a customized, precise, and proactive monitoring solution.
